Welcome to the Irish Red Cross website for the Flood Relief Scheme. This website has been specially established to help people who wish to apply for humanitarian aid arising from hardship caused by the recent floods in November 2002. This follows the appointment by the Government of the Irish Red Cross to distribute humanitarian aid to people who suffered severe hardship as a result of the recent floods.
Applicants for humanitarian aid will need to prove hardship under one or more of the following headings: death, serious injury, homelessness, damage to home or extreme hardship.
Victims of the recent flooding disaster are invited to apply for humanitarian aid using this website by printing the application form and returning it by post to the Irish Red Cross Flood Relief Scheme, 16 Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
