Aidan Leahy, who was released last week after being kidnapped in Iran, today visited the Irish Red Cross where he thanked the Irish Red Cross Chairman and the Red Cross organisation for their work on his behalf.
Mr Leahy and his family made a generous donation to the Irish Red Cross Iran Earthquake Appeal during the course of his visit. He praised the people of Iran for their kindness to him and said he was deeply saddened at the devastation, loss of life and extreme suffering caused to the people of Bam which he had visited.
