THANK YOU
Dear Friend,
A very warm welcome to this edition to the Irish Red Cross e-update. This is our way of keeping in touch with you, our loyal supporters and showing you where and how your generous donations are being spent. In this issue, we have news of how your outstanding donations of over 750,000 euro enabled our emergency rescue operations in China and Myanmar. Watch a video of our aid in action, see how our water projects in Malawi are progressing, read of our International Youth Camp, listen to personal stories from our home services - lives which have been touched thanks to your generosity. Wherever disaster strikes, wherever there is suffering, the Red Cross Movement is there to bring hope to those in desperate need.
With heartfelt thanks,
David Andrews
Chairman of the Irish Red Cross

Welcome to the second edition of the Irish Red Cross e-update. As a valued supporter to the Irish Red Cross, we want to keep you in touch with the work of the organisation, both at home and overseas. In this issue you will hear an interview with Irish Red Cross delegate Eve Janodet who has been working in Niger since 2006. You can also read about our work in the conflict areas of Darfur and the incredible story of one little boys fight for survival in Gereida camp. As always, thank you for your support of the Irish Red Cross.
