Laois girl Aisling Middleton (7) from Mountrath presents the President of Ireland Mary McAleese with a floral tribute at the Irish Red Cross National Youth Forum, which took place on Saturday 14 November 2009. The event saw hundreds of young members of the Irish Red Cross aged 5-17 celebrate the 70th birthday of the Irish Red Cross, and encouraged them to bring together their ideas in planning for the future involvement of more young people in the organisation.
