      <title><![CDATA[Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteer killed while carrying out vital humanitarian relief]]></title>
      <description><![CDATA[On 25 April 2012, Mohammed Khadra, a Syrian Arab Red Crescent first aid volunteer was killed while working to save the lives of others in Douma, near Damascus. The  circumstances of his death are still unclear but the IFRC is calling on all  those involved in violence in Syria to respect the humanitarian mission of the National Society and ensure the safety and security of all Red Crescent volunteers and staff as they deliver their services.]]></description>
