This week we bring you amazing Youth volunteers from around the world. It’s this week’s ’5 on Friday’… Every week Red Cross and Red Crescent Volunteers, Staff, Friends and Supporters work hard in countries all over the world to support those in need. Here’s a few of our favorites RCRC Youth pictures from this week.
Georgia. A young Georgian Red Cross volunteer helps out during a project aimed at increasing the number of walnut trees planted in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Qvemo Svaneti regions. Youth volunteers, together with the Red Cross disaster management team, launched a small-scale mitigation project that aimed to plant 3,000 walnut trees in landslide-prone areas to protect communities nearby. © Red Cross Society of Georgia
