Andrew Parle is the Digital Marketing Executive for the Irish Red Cross. Both Google and Hubspot certified, Andrew completed a
BSc Honours Degree in Technology, Design and Innovation from DIT, specialising in digital project management and marketing.
A digital nerd, Andrew comes from a marketing background and continues to lecture in his spare time. In the past. Andrew worked as a Marketing and Communications Manager for Cortechs, promoting the benefits of healthy gaming for children with ADHD.
Andrew’s role involves managing all the online activity, the website and raising awareness of all the Irish Red Cross achievements through online marketing.
Andrew is from Newbridge, Co Kildare.
Mary Phelan has recently begun in the role of Communications Executive – PR with the Irish Red Cross. She is taking over the position previously held by Rebecca Dunne. Mary comes from a print media background, having worked as a journalist with the Irish Farmers Journal for seven years where she was Careers and Education Editor and senior features writer. Mary regularly represented the Farmers Journal on national and local radio and television and she spearheaded and ran the Irish Farmers Journal’s Agri Careers Fair.
Mary’s role is to spread news of Irish Red Cross achievements across print, radio and television platforms – both local and national, and she will be heavily involved in organising events.
Her academic background comprises of a Bachelor of Civil Law with History degree from UCD and a Masters in International Journalism from DCU.
Mary is from Camross in Co Laois.
