The Irish Red Cross is delighted to announce that once more we are accepting applications for the annual course on international humanitarian law (IHL) taking place in Warsaw, Poland. Organised by the Polish Red Cross, the Swiss Red Cross and the ICRC this 10-day training in IHL provides the skills needed to analyse the complex legal issues arising in armed conflict today.

The Irish Red Cross will provide a bursary up to €1,000 for selected candidates. The bursary shall be divided equally between selected candidates towards the cost of the course.
Applications are invited from:
• Post-graduate students with a background in public international law
• Legal practitioners dealing in armed conflict
• NGO staff with a demonstrated interest in acquiring legal training
Cost: €600 (includes accommodation, meals and training materials)
