Thanks to generous donations from members of the public, receipts from a number of concerts and events and recently received monies from the Donegal Diaspora in the USA the Donegal flood appeal has reached €135,000.
To date the Irish Red Cross members in Donegal have distributed over €60,000 in cash grants to 122 people severely affected by the August 2017 floods.
Taking the next step
The Irish Red Cross now wishes to begin to disperse the remaining funds in the Donegal Flood appeal which have been publically raised. It will do this via applications received either electronically or by post using the form below.
People who wish to apply for this discretionary grant must do so via the application form below only.

The completed application form must be received in the office of the Irish Red Cross, 16 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, DO2 FX85 by close of business on the 30th November 2017.
In the first week of December the Irish Red Cross will begin processing the forms and dispersing the funds. The Irish Red Cross volunteers in Donegal may be asked to call to applicants to help assess the applications but it is understood that most applications will be dealt with via the staff in the Irish Red Cross HQ on the basis of the amount of money in the fund at that time and the volume of the applications.
