Irish Red Cross Youth: Positive Images
The Muff branch recently held a successful cultural diversity night with people from different groups in the community showcasing food, music, language and traditions from their culture.  Community members from a variety of backgrounds including Chinese, Brazilian and Irish attended the evening.  Bernie Rutherford, member of the IRC National Youth Working Group and youth leader in Muff said, “the evening was enjoyed by all and provided an opportunity to learn a little more about each other’s cultural traditions as well sampling some delicious foods from around the globe”.

The event was organised as part of the Muff branches involvement with the Irish Red Cross Youth Project – Positive Images.  This project aims to promote positive attitudes towards migrant groups amongst young people.  If you would like to find out more about this project, please contact Louise at
