Galway came away with the President’s trophy, after a competitive and challenging event, at the Irish Red Cross first aid competitions which took place on Saturday the 19th of October in Ardscoil Ris in Co, Limerick.
During the competition, the aim was to simulate real-life situations and rank our volunteers on how they assessed and treated the injured people.

"The competition requires commitment, dedication and a high level of training," said Ted Noonan, Irish Red Cross Competition Lead.
