Volunteer Roles for FACE 2012 – Dundalk

Home News And Events Volunteer Roles for FACE 2012 – Dundalk

Dear Fellow Red Cross Volunteer,

The Irish Red Cross has been given the great honour of hosting the 25th FACE Competition, FACE 2012. The International Convention and First Aid Competition will be held this year, in Dundalk, County Louth, from the 5th to the 8th of July ad is a major event for the Irish Red Cross.

I am writing to ask you to consider helping out with FACE 2012.
We need volunteers who are available mostly on the Friday and Saturday and from all ages and with many different skill sets. There is a role here for everyone!

Please don’t hesitate to seek clarification from either myself or the Steering Group if you have any queries about these roles. Our Project Manager, Amy Fitzgerald can also be contacted in Head Office on (01) 6424600 or by emailing facepm@redcross.ie.

We would ask the Branches to take care of transport for their volunteers to Dundalk. The FACE Project will then provide accommodation and food for them while they are helping with the FACE 2012 event.

This will be a fantastic experience for each volunteer and a great opportunity to work together with Red Cross members from both home and abroad.

Many thanks,
Tom Horwell,
FACE 2012, National Steering Group

Please return the application form direct to Head Office by either email or post before 6th April (to facepm@redcross.ie or Carol O’ Neill, 16 Merrion Sq. Dublin 2)
