Any person between the ages of 4 and 25 can join the Irish Red Cross Youth.
Irish Red Cross Youth members participate in learn how to be humanitarians. They focus on health, self-esteem, anti-discrimination, positivity, inclusion and developing their communities. They participate in education programmes, attend camps, competitions, national events and learn first aid.
All Irish Red Cross Youth leaders have received Safeguarding Training and are Garda Vetted.
When you join Irish Red Cross Youth, you become part of the world’s largest humanitarian network. You develop talents that serve your family, your community and yourself. You learn team skills, build friendships, help combat bullying and discrimination, develop your understanding of the world and have a good time while you're at it. It could help your future career, too.
There are lots of different activities and events throughout the year and our youth members are given a strong voice in the policies for the whole Irish Red Cross society.
To join the Irish Red Cross Youth, you will need to fill in a Membership Form available by email from email@example.com or by downloading here. The fee is €5.00 per year if you are aged between 4 and 17. From the age of 18, the annual fee for renewals is €10. New members joining after the age of 18 pay a €15 induction fee and €10 per year thereafter. Any member aged 16 and over is required to complete the Garda Vetting process.
