Natalia’s Story: Volunteering With Heart

In 2023, Natalia was forced to flee her home in Ukraine. She arrived in Castlebar with her mother and her son.
Natalia is the primary carer for her mother who has Alzheimer’s disease. In her free time, she volunteers in the local Jack and Jill charity shop.
I could almost feel it in the air, this powerful spirit of kindness, warmth and care. This really touched my heaer and my soul.
