The Irish Red Cross has a fleet of 140+ vehicles. These include road ambulances, off-road ambulances, and minibusses. All our vehicles meet the required standard for the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).
The Irish Red Cross provides first-aid cover at numerous events around the country every week, ranging from concerts to sports events and community festivals. Our first-aid cover at such events is provided by volunteer members who are trained to Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) standards.
For the provision of first-aid cover, the country is split into four regions. Each region has a volunteer Regional Director of Units, and each county has a volunteer Area Director of Units.
Dublin/North East – covers the areas of Cavan, Dublin Borough, Dublin Fingal, Louth, Meath and Monaghan.
