The Irish Red Cross is an Irish charity with a network of over 100 branches throughout the country - run entirely by volunteers.
Some of our work involves raising funds and awareness for the International Red Cross's humanitarian operations abroad. But a great deal of our work is at home providing services, promoting social inclusion, running youth programmes, responding to emergencies, treating the injured and sometimes saving lives.
With a fleet of over 90 vehicles, including ambulances, four-wheel drive ambulances and minibuses on the ground in every corner of the country; the Red Cross supports community events, supplements the health service and provides home-care programmes.
For information about becoming an Irish Red Cross volunteer or the services the Irish Red Cross offers in your locality, please contact your nearest branch. Contact details can be found on our branch map.
