Revolut

Revolut have partnered with the Irish Red Cross to allow their users to make donations directly to the IRC through the Revolut app, or to set up a monthly donation on an ongoing basis. Revolut is also providing support for Irish Red Cross services and volunteers responding to the COVID-19 crisis in Ireland. Revolut customers in Ireland will be able to donate to IRC response efforts via the in-app Donations feature, to help those most in need.

Fleming Medical

Limerick based Fleming Medical, one of Ireland’s leading medical suppliers, has been corporate partners with the Irish Red Cross for over 10 years.

Over the past decade, Fleming Medical has supported the Irish Red Cross through the donation of medical equipment to our branches, including free responder bags for the entire IRC ambulance fleet, and Automatic External Defibrillators. Fleming Medical have also partnered with the Irish Red Cross to deliver a series of video training sessions, providing handy tips on first aid in the home.

TK Maxx

Our latest partner TK Maxx is donating a percentage of all Bags For Life (sold in TK Maxx and Homesense stores) to the Irish Red Cross. And as an element of the TK Maxx customer loyalty ‘Treasure’ programme, TK Maxx will also donate €5 to the Irish Red Cross every time one of their customers donates a ‘reward’; which they receive on making purchases in store.

Lottoland

Lottoland partnered with Irish Red Cross in a digital makeover of Cork city and county fleet of ambulances. The project saw our ambulances being kitted out with smart devices to capture key data replacing cumbersome and time-consuming reports by pen and paper which will all be secured with cloud technology and allow real-time reporting and sight of all ambulance logistics.

 

AVIVA

AVIVA have directly supported the Irish Red Cross ambulance and support vehicle fleet in their efforts to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, helping us to keep vehicles on the road at this time of emergency. AVIVA is also sponsoring a Psycho-social First Aid programme, to be delivered by Irish Red Cross volunteers, which will help to support individuals experiencing emotional and psychological stresses as a result of crises such as the COVID-19 outbreak.

IKEA

Through the donation of a large range of household products from IKEA, the Irish Red Cross was able to provide thousands of ‘Comfort Packs’ to isolated and vulnerable individuals and families all across Ireland, helping them to cope better with the COVID-19 outbreak. These Comfort Packs gave some respite to people separated from family and friends during a very difficult time.

H&M

The Irish Red Cross and H&M launched the partnership in Ireland in 2020 with the social media campaign called Thank You Local Heroes, which highlighted the individual stories of IRC volunteers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic; and H&M will now also raise funds from clothes they have collected in store and donate the proceeds to the Irish Red Cross.
